SO I have decided to draw a cartoon that acts as a guide to the credit crisis.  This is Page 1. If you have any suggestions for the text...to liven it up or what have you, let me know.

I like it so far. I think you should use some stronger imagery when making your point. I like this, but I think it should go into "now let me give you an idea of what I am talking about...." Like when This American Life did their most recent show about the economic crisis they talked about the shoe factory that had all the equipment, but the workers were just waiting to do anything because the government was the ones that told them how many of various shoes to make. I think you need to paint a picture using something like that.

Like potatoes. One year there was a lot of extra potatoes from a good harvest. This was awesome and people started making houses out of potatoes which seemed like a good idea b/c if you put flour with potatoes it becomes like cement, but then the potatoes started to rot and there were all these houses made of rotting stuff...and even worse people were sick of potatoes so they stopped eating them and so now there are a lot of rotting houses and a lot of rotting potatoes in the grocery store. And because no one is buying either one the market for houses and food has gone to shit. This means that baggers at the grocery store had to be fired and real estate agents had to be fired...and you can keep going like that. Altho I would not use my analogy because it makes no sense
